A unique experience awaits you at Tattnall House, offering the luxury and privacy of this historic home all to yourself.

Built in 1853, this beautiful 2 story brick home accommodates up to 4 people. It includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a separate dressing room, a lovely living room and adjoining dining room. Through the kitchen with it's original exposed brick wall you'll find the private courtyard and seating.

Tattnall House is located in one of the most beautiful sections of downtown near the famously appointed "America's Most Beautiful Street" Jones Street. You are within walking distance to many of the famous attractions including: Forsyth Park, The Jepson Center for the Arts, shopping, historic tours and many restaurants including Mrs. Wilkes and The Crystal Beer Parlor.

Maximum occupancy is 4 people including infants/children, at ALL times.
No pets. No smoking.
Minimum age of person reserving must be at least 25 years old, no exceptions.
NO PARTIES! NO Bachelorette/bachelor groups!!
The exterior of the property is monitored by security cameras. There are, of course NO cameras inside.

Upon reserving, you will receive emails from our booking software called ESCAPIA and/or Luxury Living Savannah. Please check your spam/junk folders.

Cancellations:
If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.
You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.
This is regardless of VRBO’s policy.

AND that wonderful walled courtyard! An outstanding experience of a charming old Savannah house, very curated collection of furniture (it is also comfortable), pictures (fascinating old prints of cities). Well-signed directions for using its electrical etc. AND THAT NEIGHBORHOOD! Fabulous walking in the historic district for people who don't want to stay in that downtown tourist street and bars scene. Street parking never any problem at all, parked in front of the door essentially every time.

Beautiful property. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Wish we could have enjoyed the courtyard more, but we went during a very hot and humid part of the summer. Only issue is that the company takes a very long time, up to a month, to refund your deposit. Still haven’t received ours.

Experience was terrific. The home was beautiful and charming from top to bottom. Loved the location in historic Savannah! Good communication with the host. Amenities were adequate. Only constructive feedback I would suggest is to have a small sheet explaining how to watch DVDs, as my girls were excited to watch a movie and we couldn’t figure out how to operate everything that was involved. Also, the bedroom mattresses could stand to be replaced. This makes such a difference in a quality night’s sleep. Otherwise the home and experience were wonderful and we hope to return someday!

Tattnall house is the perfect place to sit back relax and soak in the ambience. I’ve stayed here twice. Once with a friend, and just recently with my husband. It’s just a couple blocks from Forsyth Park and coffee shops on Liberty. Perfect!

Beautiful historic solid brick home with a court yard off the kitchen. Comfortable furniture, believe it or not. The home has 4 fireplaces and only one bathroom upstairs. The washer and dryer is also upstairs. See if you can find the hidden message in the home during your stay.

We chose this location due to the historic nature of the house and decor. We enjoyed taking a step back in time surrounded by vintage furniture. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location of the house was perfect for us and offered us peace and quiet. Parking was not an issue and the management company was prompt and very helpful in assisting once we arrived. This is a must see!!!

The house was overall fine and in a good location to walk to all of downtown Savannah. The heat in the home made the stay very uncomfortable, as well as the musty smell. It was cold in Savannah so we turned the heat up. The first floor remained freezing and the bedrooms on the top floor were boiling. When I called for help I was told “it’s an old house and the heat was just checked.” I was shocked at the rude response and lack of customer service as we booked the home for 6 nights. Additionally there were two cars with shattered windows on the block the day before we left that were broken into overnight.
