One of Savannah’s most photographed and famous houses. It is truly one of the finest homes in the South East. It is now available as a luxury vacation rental.

This 1869 2nd Empire Baroque Home takes your breath the minute you see it. The Award Winning Mansion shows off an elaborate white bay window is so ornately decorated with stained glass windows and ornamental iron work that the long time residents of Savannah have always said it resembles an elegantly decorated 'wedding cake'.

The prized 'Wedding Cake Mansion' is the jewel of Monterey Square. The historical square was made famous from being featured in the movie 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'. Monterey Square is unquestionably the most beautiful square in Savannah. The square is graced by mansions on all corners, draped in Spanish moss and anchored with historic monuments.

The common spaces, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and Keeping Room are elegantly decorated to meet the historic refinement of the historic home. Five regal bedrooms each with luxurious en suite bathrooms offer private sanctuary away from your group.

The gourmet kitchen has custom designed cabinetry, top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops will make the everyday chef or the culinary master feel at home.

This reservation includes ONE private, garage parking space.

PARKING for additional vehicles:
Downtown Savannah has metered, on-street parking Monday through Friday. SOME parts of the Historic District are free on Saturday/Sunday. The City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block.
You can download the APP "Park Savannah" to pay meters from your phone
OR
Visitor Parking Passes are available for 24hours/$15.00 and 48hours/$24.00. Passes can be purchased at the City of Savannah Parking Services Office at 100 East Bryan Street/912.651.6470.

NOISE:
This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music or parties of any sort. Violators may be evicted and/or fined.

NO BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE GROUPS!!

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY is 10 people including infants & children, at all/any times.
Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old, no exceptions.
No pets or smoking allowed.

Once reserved, you will receive emails from our booking software called ESCAPIA and/or Luxury Living Savannah. Please check your spam/junk folders.

Cancellations:
If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.
You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.
This is regardless of VRBO’s policy.

The house was great. Just the right size for our group of ten. Suzanne was very helpful and got bak to us quickly. The location was perfect. We did a ghost tour one night that ended in Monterrey Square, right by the house. We could walk to everything in the historic district.

The Wedding Cake House is amazing and provides the experience of the 1860's with the modern conveniences of 2020. The location is perfect for exploring Savannah with no car required. What a fantastic Christmas holiday like no other! The management and owner are perfect hosts and provided all of the info that we required. It would be the perfect Wedding venue, as well as a holiday stay.

The home was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice. It is in an excellent location with parking readily available. It was extremely clean and had all of the needed amenities. It had lots of comfortable living areas to get together with everyone but each room was very private.
The management company was extremely responsive and answered questions. We had 14 people there and it did not feel crowded. We included the bottom Garden Apartment in the rental. It would be hard for people who do not negotiate stairs well. There is an elevator but it did not seem to work. I will definitely rent it again!!!

The original house we booked had an AC problem. The management immediately responded and upgraded us to this gorgeous home. They checked in with us to make sure we were ok, and gave us tips on where to go during our stay. We were a party of 10, multigenerational family with four kids. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable (especially the beds!) and well equipped, with room for everyone. The kitchen was great. We made a big breakfast one morning from provisions we purchased at the farmer's market. The house was centrally located, so we were able to walk everywhere. We had a wonderful time and were so pleased with the home and the responsive management.

We had a fabulous experience at the Wedding Cake Mansion for my daughters bridal party. It was a perfect location and was so accommodating for 9 women. The bedrooms and bathrooms made it a perfect place to prepare for the wedding and absolutely beautiful
for bridal photos. The dcor and attention to detail is exquisite. Many memories were made and the ladies will be planning reunions at this beautiful home for years.
