When the sun is out and the flowers are in bloom, there’s no place like Savannah in Spring. It’s hard to find a reason to stay indoors this time of year. Springtime in Savannah also usually marks the return of festival season throughout the area. No matter what you want to do, go outside and enjoy spring in Savannah and Tybee Island.

Forsyth Farmers Market

This weekly farmers market is held at the southern part of Forsyth Park every Saturday. Get a taste of Savannah from a variety of vendors and buy great local produce. Get incredible ingredients or just a bite to eat on a beautiful sunny day in the park.

Rincon Spring Fair – April 7-16 2023

The sixth annual Rincon Spring Fair is returning to Savannah and Freedom Park. The fair has rides, food, and plenty of family fun for not a lot of money. There will also be an egg hunt on April 8th.

Egg Hunts – April 8 2023

There are several Easter Egg hunts happening in Savannahs including The Great Thunderbolt Egg Hunt at Cesaroni Park and the Easter Egg Hunt at Fort McAllister State Park.

Plant Riverside District Easter Brunch – April 9 2023

An elegant Easter brunch at the Plant Riverside District features an expansive menu filled with traditional favorites. Offerings include an omelet bar, southern staples, assorted sushi rolls, and fresh salad.

Riverfront Concert Series – April 13 & May 18 2023

The Park at Eastern Wharf offers a Riverfront Concert Series with food trucks, park bar, and it’s free and open to the public. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an outdoor concert.

NOGS Tour of Hidden Garden – April 14-15, 2023

The NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens is an annual sprint event hosted by the Garden Club of Savannah. The tour gives a peak into one of Savannah’s most historic neighborhoods and unlocks the gates to select private gardens north of Gaston Street.

2023 SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival – April 22, 2023

This treasured SCAD tradition finds students and alumni transforming Savannah's famous Forsyth Park into a Technicolor landscape of sidewalk chalk. Take a stroll through the festival while you enjoy art, local food, and great music.

Blessing of the Fleet – April 29 2023

This annual festival in Thunderbolt celebrates the local shrimping and fishing industry. The Blessing of the Fleet is a time honored tradition and has grown into a full blow festival with live music, morning parade, food trucks, beer garden, children’s activities, and raffle prizes.
