One of Savannah’s most picturesque and immaculately preserved mansions. We welcome up to 16 people in this luxurious home in one of the country's most magical cities.

The prized 'Wedding Cake Mansion' is the jewel of Monterey Square and is one of the most beautiful areas in Savannah. The square is graced by mansions on all corners, with languid Live Oaks, draped in Spanish Moss and anchored with historic monuments.

This 1869 2nd Empire Baroque Mansion takes your breath the minute you see it. The elaborate white bay window is so ornately decorated with stained glass windows and ornamental iron work that the long time residents of Savannah have always said it resembles an elegantly decorated 'wedding cake'. This architecture is very unique to Savannah with only a few examples remaining in the Historic District. The French influence is carried throughout the house with vintage French antiques and art. The bedrooms are a resplendent escape and the en-suite bathrooms offer every luxurious accouterments expected from the savvy, refined traveler.

This includes ALL parts of the property: The 4 floors of the Main House AND the 1 bedroom Carriage House that is over the garage. Guests from the carriage house can walk through the garage and courtyard into the back doors of the main house to join other guests.

The MAIN house 7 bedrooms all with private bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms and bathrooms on the top/4th floor. In the middle open space, there is a large desk for anyone who needs computer time.

Two bedrooms and bathrooms including the Primary Suite on the 3rd floor. There is also a small kitchen with stove, refrigerator and sink.

The 2nd floor, called The Parlor Level in historic homes, has the main large kitchen, dining room and living room areas. This is your general gathering space! There is a smart TV in the sitting area next to kitchen AND in the living room.

The ground floor, also called the Garden Suite (can be a separately rented) has 2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. This is a fully equipped apartment with a full kitchen and private living room. In photos you will see the stairs that lead up to the 2nd floor from the garden level. There is a back door to the patio and courtyard as well.

The Carriage House (over the garage) is also a fully equipped apartment with a kitchen, living room and full bathroom and bedroom. Guests have a separate entrance from behind the property off the LANE (in Savannah we call alleys, LANES). Parking in the garage is accessed here as well.

All bedrooms have either queen or king beds and new smart TVs. We do not have cable but you are ready to stream your favorite apps.

*Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old, no exceptions.

*MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY is 16 people, including infants/children, at any/all times.

*NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort.

NO BACHELORETTE/BACHELOR GROUPS!

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS!

This is a family oriented neighborhood with year-round tenants. Violators may be evicted and/or fined. The City of Savannah Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 8 am. Savannah Police and the neighborhood strictly enforce this. The individual violators can be fined and/or EVICTED.

*No smoking or pets allowed.

*PARKING: This property has a private 2 car garage for our guests.
Parking for additional vehicles: Downtown Savannah has metered, on-street parking Monday through Friday. SOME parts of the Historic District are free on Saturday/Sunday. The City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block.

This is an amazing house, kept in perfect condition and a wonderful place for a large group to be together in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Savannah. Most bedrooms had ensuite bath, and the few that didn't were just across/down a hall. Full kitchen (actually multiple kitchens), long longn dining room table to fit a crowd, ample seating for conversations. Just a lovely place.

Our son and lovely daughter in law recently got married in Savannah. My husband and I along with all of our children and grandchildren stayed at the Wedding Cake Mansion. We loved everything about the mansion; the incredible chandeliers, the fireplaces, the artwork, the furniture - everything was exquisite. The management was wonderful and handled questions quickly, the property was clean and maintained. The whole Savannah area was welcoming and warm. We can't wait to return! Thank you so much

Everything was great. Very beautiful home. We ran into two problems. 1. The sink in the master bathroom got backed up and started to leak on the floor. We got everything cleaned up but someone should look into it. 2. The towels in the place were of poor quality and there were not enough. We had several of the people staying with us complain.

The house is beautiful and even going up 2 flights of stairs was not bad. On the first night the people that stayed on the third floor noticed a water leak that seemed to be coming through the ceiling fan. A trash can was placed to catch the water and a call was placed to the management. A second call was placed the next day when no one showed. This time, we advised that the water was now going into the second floor. The problem was fixed the next day. (Pump malfunction). Personal Items were left in kitchen and a call was placed to have them located. They were and was told they would be mailed. That was 2 weeks ago. Value over $200 but still waiting.
The location is great and the facility is indicative of the old South.

We really enjoyed our stay here for our daughter's wedding. We were able to walk right over to Monterey Square for the ceremony. The house has everything you will need for a wonderful stay. The rooms are spread out so there is plenty of privacy.

Every bedroom is massively large and the bedding is luxurious. No need for a car as everything is within walking distance. Our host was very helpful with suggestions and always accessible. This was a dream stay. Highly recommend.

Hosted a girls getaway in Savannah at Wedding Cake Collection. It was PERFECT. Lots of space to spread out or to come together. Too many extra touches to describe. We had a wonderful time with great friends at the best house in Savannah. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. It was a great house for a weekend getaway with friends. Good beds, excellent showers and fully stocked kitchen. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

A group of us came in to town to visit my daughter who attends SCAD. The house was perfect! Each one of my guests had their own room and bathroom. I put my son and his friends in the carriage house and our older group in the main house and garden suites. The house is elegant with so many beautiful and unique spaces, with timely personal items; just too many to name. I would recommend it to anyone and we may go back next year for a reunion. Oh and the location is perfect for walking in a walking town!
