Wake up to views of Chatham Square from the master bedroom. Enjoy the en-suite bathroom with double shower heads, twin vanities, and adjoining walk-in closet. The kitchen is outfitted for cooking meals at home or plating a nice take out meal.
The private, rear balcony looks over the walled courtyard and fountain.

This historic townhouse was painstakingly restored and decorated with comfort & charm in mind and the best part is the central location - walking distance to everything in the Historic District!

NOTE: This is is a 3-STORY HOME with one flight of stairs going up to the entrance, then one flight up to the living room/kitchen floor, then one flight of stairs up to the bedrooms.

HISTORIC GORDON ROW: Gordon Row was built in two phases between 1852 and 1854. In the first phase, the 3 or 4 houses on each end of the block were built and in the second phase the middle portion was built. There are a total of 15 houses in the row.

The houses were built in the Federalist (US) or Regency Style (UK). Each house is four stories high and contains about 3,300 square feet. The Federalist Style emphasizes square, classical features, plain decorations and mirror image rooms.

The Row was speculatively built; meaning that the homes were built as a lot then sold rather than individually designed for the owners. As a result, each of the 15 houses was nearly identical.

When built originally, the cost per house was between $3,500 and $4,000. The market was country planters, or farmers, who wanted a house in town for their visits to Savannah.

When originally built, the kitchens were on the ground level. The house was only two rooms deep with matching, or mirroring, windows facing the front and the back porch.

1. This property has metered street parking Monday through Friday, free on Saturday/Sunday. City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block . You can download the phone APP "PARK SAVANNAH" to pay meters from your phone
OR
Visitor Parking Day Passes are available for 24hours/$15.00 and 48hours/$24.00. Passes can be purchased at the City of Savannah Parking Services Office at100 East Bryan Street.
2. Luxury Living Savannah has 4 reserved parking spaces located about 4 blocks east. We charge $20 per night, per parking space and this can be added to your booking charges.

OCCUPANCY: We NEVER allow more than 4 people, including infants/children, at the property at ANY/ALL times.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED! NO BACHELORETTE/BACHOLOR GROUPS!

We live south of New Orleans, so history and classic, southern American architecture are things we're used to. The streets surrounding the rental felt like another world compared to New Orleans—clean, quiet, and safe.

Walking out the front door each morning, you step into one of the many green space squares that make the city so much more walkable. Coming back at the end of a beautiful day of eating, browsing, and exploring the historic district and riverfront, the townhouse is soothingly decorated with light greys and blues. Furniture is softly upholstered and the kitchen is beautifully decorated, but not overwhelmingly large.

If I were forced to point out any negatives, I’d say the water pressure in the shower is not the greatest (these are historic homes, and I’m sure they’ve done what they can over the years). Internet could also be a tad faster and more stable for streaming movies and TV shows. If you have issues with stairs, this also wouldn’t be the place for you. Approaching the front door off the sidewalk, you have to climb up the first level of steps off the street, then behind the front door is a small entryway where you can either then go into Unit A or Unit B (each has its own combination lock, so no worries about that). This is Unit A, which then requires walking up another flight of stairs to get to the main floor of the unit where the living room, kitchen, dining room, and half bath are located. The two bedrooms and LARGE closet are up another flight of stairs. If you’re ok with stairs, I’d say don’t let this be a deal-breaker, because the climbs are worth it for the beautiful space. If you have joint issues, maybe stick to a one-floor rental.

We really enjoyed our stay in Savannah. The townhouse was beautiful, very comfortable and well provisioned. All the stairs were a little daunting, particularly from the front door up to the first floor which does not have a handrail. The location was perfect as a "homebase" to plan our daily excursions.

Everything was high quality, well decorated, and just comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, the showers large with plenty of pressure. Hosts were quick to answer any questions. Would 1000% stay here again.

The nicest, cleanest place we have ever stayed. They thought of everything and it was like staying at a resort! Perfect for walking everywhere and partaking in all the beauty and delicious places to eat. Will rent this place again, next time.

The place was beautiful! I enjoyed my stay. There is one thing that needs to be looked into and that is the tiny ant like bugs in the kitchen. They were every where. We kept counters and sink clean but they were just every where.

My best friend and I stayed at this home for a girls week. It was beautiful! The house was super clean. The beds are comfortable. There are a ton of stairs though, which I should have realized before booking as it is an older home. The location is good, but it is a 20 minute walk to River St. Which is not really a problem, unless you are pregnant and it is July. We would definitely stay here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

The home we stayed in was gorgeous. Although we did not cook the kitchen looked like a newly remodeled kitchen. I loved the master closet/dressing room. That was like a dream closet! This place was quiet and close to downtown Savannah where we did most of our touring. It was within walking distance of Clary’s where we ate breakfast. The home clean and when I asked a question to management they responded right away. I would definitely stay there again.
