Perfect location!
Reviewed on 2023-04-06 by Lisa R. , Ft Wright, KY USWe stayed here for a long weekend and the location could not have been more perfect. Walking distance to many of the things we wanted to do. Plenty of space for the 11 of us. The carriage house was a nice surprise - full kitchen included. Would have liked a few more bath towels but overall everything was fantastic.
Perfect for Family Thanksgiving
Reviewed on 2022-12-25 by Vicki C. , Barrington, IL United StatesCharming older home with carriage house in convenient, walkable location was perfect for our family gathering. The numerous bathrooms and bedrooms were great. Two kitchens worked well for us as we prepared our Thanksgiving feast. Delighted that it was really clean for an older property and provided cleaning supplies.

Wonderful Savannah Property
Reviewed on 2022-06-01 by Rachel C. , Novato, CA USThis is a beautifully restored 4 bedroom/4 bath house with a 2 bedroom/2 bath carriage house above the garage. We had a large party and rented the entire property. The bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The attention to detail explains why the owner has been recognized by the Savannah Historical Society. We didn’t cook but we could have.
Savannah vacation
Reviewed on 2022-03-21 by , Arcade, NY USThis home is stunning, pictures do not do it justice! We had a group of 11 adults, everyone had plenty of space with 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. The location of the home was perfect to walk out the door to shops, restaurants and all the historic places. The only minor inconvenience was getting an early check-in at 3pm. When we arrived the cleaners were still there but they quickly had the place ready and the property manager did apologize.

Great stay for eight in beautiful home!
Reviewed on 2019-11-15 by , Petaluma, CA USThere is a sweet courtyard between the too.
The home is in a great location - walking distance to the river, shops, museums.
All four bedrooms in the main home had it's own bathroom. Some with jets and an awesome shower. The carriage home had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with jetted tubs.
We found what we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed two meals in the dining room.
It would be even better with a comfortable, functional couch in the living room.
But we all loved the home and would stay again.

We rented the main house and carriage house for destination wedding. The house was beautifully appointed and more than spacious. It is within walking distance to everything; River street just 2 blocks away! The little touches are done so very right- very nice bedding and towels, washers and dryers, kitchen with everything you need. We really enjoyed the history of the house.
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Beautiful, but could be more comfortable.
Reviewed on 2018-05-13 by Dianne H. , Franklin, PA United StatesPros:
-Spacious bedrooms in the main house with comfortable beds.
- generous supply of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Wonderfully well equipped kitchen with many dishes, cups, a variety of glassware, baking dishes, pots and pans and cooking utensils.
- Air conditioning and WiFi both worked very well
- property manager is easy to contact and very helpful
Cons:
- First floor bedroom does not have a shower just a claw foot tub
- The second floor bedrooms in the main house are spacious, but the pedestal sinks and tiny vanities do not have sufficient space for your toiletries. The bathrooms all need shelves for toiletries.
The bedrooms only have one suitcase stand per room, which leaves only the single chair of floor for second one.
Note: Be sure to check the parking signs for the times of the middle of the night street sweeping so that you dont get a ticket. One sign is obscured by trees.

Our family group,of 11 adults enjoyed our stay in the Washington Square House and Carriage House for 4 nights in April. The house and the carriage house are located in a quiet area that is within walking distance of many restaurants and River Street. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, but the period furniture in the living room, dining room, and sun room is uncomfortable to sit on. We would have preferred more comfortable, less decorative furniture.

Pros:

Definitely Luxury Living
Reviewed on 2018-04-12 by , Chicago, IL United StatesWe loved staying here! The location was within a pleasant walk to the historic district, but not in a busy congested area. Every room was decorated in a tasteful vintage design, so that it felt like we were back in time, except for the luxury bathrooms and kitchen, which were clean and modern. It was the best of both worlds! We loved the big round table where all 11 of us could sit, eat, play games and talk. Would definitely stay here again and recommend without reservation.
Bachelorette Weekend!
Reviewed on 2018-03-29 by , Moreland Hills, OH United StatesOur stay was pretty much amazing! The house was wonderful and the owner was extremely helpful whenever I called with a question! Overall, this was a perfect location and a great place to stay. The only downfall was that we wanted to sit outside at night and the neighbors did not like that. They made a comment to us to keep it down at night.
