A marble and cherry half bath completes the downstairs.
The second floor offers the choice of 3 themed queen bedrooms. The Renaissance Master Bedroom includes a balcony overlooking the courtyard, walk-in closet, attached bath and jetted tub. The Rosebud Room with its white wicker furnishings and white iron bed will delight. Matching fireplaces built with old savannah brick is on the back wall and French doors separate the Rosebud Room from the adjacent bedroom. Called the Civil War Room for it's black iron bed, eyelet bedding, and civil war-era pictures, it has the matching brick fireplace and same heart-of-pine flooring as the rest of the second floor. A bright blue and white tiled bathroom with six-foot claw tub sits at the end of the hall. Climb the stairs to the third floor to delight in an attic bedroom with sloping ceilings and twin dormir windows with built in window seats. Two twin beds and a full-sized iron framed bed occupy the room. A small entertainment area contains chairs and a Nintendo game cube, books, videos and VCR TV. Across the room is a footlocker with dress up clothes. A dressing screen and desk complete the furnishings and closet space is ample.
Relax and enjoy your evenings grilling steaks in the courtyard. Order a trolley or horse drawn carriage to pick you up at your doorstep or take a Pedi cab to broughton street for shopping. Walk to Forsyth Park and picnic while you enjoy their frequent festivals. Or amble along the cobblestone streets and squares that surround you.
