Originally built for Angel G. Ybanez, a successful hotel keeper who was born in Spain in 1831, this distinctive home once served as a church, bar and even a brothel. Long oversaw the meticulous renovation and preservation of the home, which has been restored to its nineteenth-century majesty. The estate's iron fence facing Bolton Street, which has been refurbished by local ironworker Skeeter, is part of the original fence which once surrounded Forsyth Park.
