Luxury Living Savannah Proudly Unveils Forsyth Park House,
A Newly-Renovated Destination for Discerning Travelers
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Luxury Living Savannah, a premier luxury accommodations company, is proud to unveil its latest jewel, the Forsyth Park House. This newly-renovated 1871 mansion, which is located at 209 W. Bolton St., has been restored to its former splendor and is now available for discerning travelers to rent for three days, three months or longer.
"Forsyth Park House offers travelers the opportunity to experience the grandeur and magnificence of Savannah in 1871," said Tammy Jo Long, the president of Luxury Living Savannah. "This exquisite property is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic weekend getaway or an intimate wedding in the spacious courtyard out back."
Forsyth Park House, which is a registered National Historic Landmark, features five bedrooms and five baths and has been furnished with exquisite European antiques hand-selected from estate sales across the country. A lavish master bath has been outfitted with white marble floors, chandeliers imported from Venice, a remote controlled Aquatic Air Bath and a private deck. Elegant window treatments, antique Oriental rugs and a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen are among the many appointments at this magnificent hideaway, which is located in the heart of Savannah's Victorian District.
Originally built for Angel G. Ybanez, a successful hotel keeper who was born in Spain in 1831, this distinctive home once served as a church, bar and even a brothel. Over the years, the home had fallen into disrepair and had been converted into dilapidated apartments. Long oversaw the meticulous renovation and preservation of the home, which has been restored to its nineteenth-century majesty. The estate's iron fence facing Bolton Street, which has been refurbished by local ironworker Skeeter, is part of the original fence which once surrounded Forsyth Park.
Long, a Southern architecture aficionado, has converted a number of endangered historic properties once scheduled for demolition into exquisite executive rentals, offering a new level of luxury accommodations for discriminating travelers. Custom-designed linens and towels from Singapore, French milled soaps and gourmet coffee are just some of the distinctive touches that make Luxury Living Savannah's properties unique.
Luxury Living Savannah has spared no expense to create charming, private, historic accommodations with optional indulgences like a private chef, private tour, airport pick-up or in-house massage available upon request.
"It's more of a European concept of travel," Long explained. "It's more like staying at a private villa in Italy or a manor house in Scotland. Our properties have more of a personal flair, where travelers can get a taste of the local culture and how people live in Savannah."
